Humko Humise Churalo – which,
interestingly, could be translated to, “Steal me from myself” – was,
undoubtedly, the most melodious song on the soundtrack of Mohabbatein.
Seven
minutes and 58 seconds long, (Ud)it was the longer of the two tracks rendered
by Lata Mangeshkar and Mr Narayan in the film.
And by no
means would it be incorrect to state that the legendary duo did an outstanding
job.
The track
earned Anand Bakshi the Star Screen and Screen Weekly Awards in the Best
Lyricist category, and a nomination at the Filmfare Awards.
(Pand)It
was composed by Jatin-Lalit.
