Refugee, which
released in 2000, earned Anu Malik the National Award for Best Music Direction
and a Filmfare Special Award.
There’s no
two ways about the fact that he deserved both, because his compositions were
melodious.
If the
three tracks from the film on this blog were arranged in alphabetical order, Aisa Lagta Hai, which was seven minutes
and 28 seconds long, would be the first.
It
wouldn’t be incorrect to state that the Son(u)g, which was rendered by Alka
Yagnik and Mr Nigam, was one of the most underrated duets.
