Raat Hamari Toh was the longest of the five songs from Parineeta on this blog – it was five
minutes and 19 seconds long.
In fact, it was the only track in the film that crossed the five-minute mark. But boy, did it hold the listeners’ attention!
And for that, the lady who rendered it – K S Chithra – deserved a great deal of credit.
Swanand Kirkire wasn’t just credited as the lyricist, but rendered a few lines of it as well.
No prizes for guessing that the track was composed by none other than Shantanu Moitra.
