It was a thought-provoKing tracK

I’m sure most people who listened to Aashayein would agree that it was different from the numbers that were being dished out.

It wasn’t just the most popular song on the soundtrack of Iqbal (2005), but it had a message too. And that was, “Dare to dream and don’t lose hope”.

There were a couple of versions of the song on the soundtrack. While this blog contains a post on the original, the other was a sad version. KK rendered both.

Irfan Siddique penned the song, which was composed by the Merchants of melody, Salim-Sulaiman.
