While I have
posted one track from Kisna: The Warrior
Poet (2005) on my blog dedicated to A R Rahman’s music, it must be noted
that he shared the soundtrack’s composing credits with Ismail Darbar.
And there’s no two ways about the fact that the latter’s most popular contribution to it was Woh Kisna Hai, the title track of the film.
It was penned by Javed Akhtar.
Sukhwinder rendered it with characteristic energy [but isn’t that how he always Sing(h)s?]
He was joined behind the microphone by Darbar, his wife Ayesha Darbar and S Shailja.
