It was SureLY the best

There’s no two ways about the fact that the poem recited by Yash Chopra, the director of Veer-Zaara, was the highlight of Kyon Hawa, which was, undoubtedly, the most outstanding song on the film’s soundtrack.

It was the filmmaker’s Diwali gift to his fans, who were eagerly awaiting his comeback – he had last helmed Dil To Pagal Hai, which released in 1997.

The track, which was half-a-dozen minutes and 11 seconds long, was rendered by Lata Mangeshkar and Sonu Nigam.

It was penned by the one and only Javed Akhtar and composed by Madan Mohan.
