While I disagree
with the opening line of Ishq Hota Nahin
Sabhi Ke Liye, the track from Jogger’s
Park (2003), there’s no two ways about the fact that it was an outstanding
– and underrated – number.
The song, which Adnan Sami rendered, can be translated to, “Love isn’t for everybody”.
Penned by Zameer Kazmi, the song was composed by Tabun Sutradhar. It wouldn’t be incorrect to state that the latter’s last name was apt, because the purpose of music in a film is to take its story forward, and the music director is a narrator too.
