Frankly, the latter was pointless, despite the fact that the original was catchy.
Both were rendered by Alka Yagnik and Mr Nigam. By no means would it be incorrect to state that the duo salvaged the Son(u)g, which was penned by the late Jalees Sherwani.
Sajid-Wajid composed it.
