Although Alka
Yagnik had a lion’s share of the songs on the soundtrack of Dil Ka Rishta (2003), she had just one solo in the film – Dayya Dayya Dayya Re.
It was the shorter
of the two tracks from the film on this blog – it was four minutes and 43
seconds long.
By no means would
it be incorrect to state that she was unable to salvage a track that was
run-of-the-mill.
And the three men
who are to blame for that were Sameer, who penned the track, and
Nadeem-Shravan, the duo who composed it.
