DAYya re, it was mediocre

Although Alka Yagnik had a lion’s share of the songs on the soundtrack of Dil Ka Rishta (2003), she had just one solo in the film – Dayya Dayya Dayya Re.
It was the shorter of the two tracks from the film on this blog – it was four minutes and 43 seconds long.
By no means would it be incorrect to state that she was unable to salvage a track that was run-of-the-mill.
And the three men who are to blame for that were Sameer, who penned the track, and Nadeem-Shravan, the duo who composed it.
