It was wAY too long

It wouldn’t be incorrect to state that songs of that LOC Kargil didn’t give the listeners goosebumps, like those of the 1997 war film Border (which was also directed by J P Dutta) did.

But one song from the 2003 film – Seemayen Bulaayen – did stand out for its duration. It was seven minutes and 59 seconds long.

It was, incidentally, the only female solo on the soundtrack – it was rendered by Alka Yagnik.

However, the song did reunite the duo who collaborated on the mind-blowing music of Border – Javed Akhtar penned the Anu Malik composition.
