incorrect to state that songs of that LOC
Kargil didn’t give the listeners goosebumps, like those of the 1997 war
film Border (which was also directed
by J P Dutta) did.
But one song from the 2003 film – Seemayen Bulaayen – did stand out for its duration. It was seven minutes and 59 seconds long.
It was, incidentally, the only female solo on the soundtrack – it was rendered by Alka Yagnik.
However, the song did reunite the duo who collaborated on the mind-blowing music of Border – Javed Akhtar penned the Anu Malik composition.
