By no
means would it be incorrect to state that Mundian To Bach Ke was the
more popular of the two tracks from Boom on this blog, especially if one
were a Punjabi music buff growing up in the last 1990s – the track dated back
to 1997.
Originally
a single from Panjabi MC's* album Legalised, the Bhangra track wasn’t
just penned, but also rendered by Labh Janjua.
(*Note: It
is the stage name of Rajinder Singh Rai, who was born in Coventry, England. He
is a recording artiste, producer, rapper and DJ of Punjabi ethnicity.)
