When I first heard
Tala Tum Tala Tum, from Aitraaz, I didn’t know what the word meant.
Jayesh Gandhi, who shared singing credits with Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan, rendered the first three lines of the track.
He couldn’t have explained it more succinctly. It means the storm that is the result of the collision of the waves.
The original was the longest track from the film on this blog – it was half-a-dozen minutes and 58 seconds long.
Its remixed version – The Cyclonic Dance Mix – was five minutes long.
