Ms Yagnik rendered it S(on)uperbly

Indeed, the most popular song on the soundtrack of Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost, which released in 2003, was Shehar Ka Jadoo Re, which, as the title suggests, was a track that compared the simple pleasures of the gaon (village) to the hustle-bustle of the shehar (city).

The track, which was half-a-dozen minutes and 20 seconds long, was penned by Sameer Anjaan and composed by Anu Malik.

It would not be incorrect to state that it was the title track of the film.

Undoubtedly, the rendition, by Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam, was its highlight.
