The song was inspired by Kraftwerk’s Trans-Europe Express, a 1977 song from the album of the same name.
Incidentally, Rakesh Roshan produced and directed the film under his banner, Filmkraft Productions (India) Pvt Ltd, and it wouldn’t be incorrect to state that his brother Rajesh, the in-house composer, knew his kraft, because the listeners adored this sweet number, penned by Nasir Faraaz.
Shaan and Kavita Krishnamurthy were joined behind the microphone by Baby Sneha.
