The longer of the
two tracks from Baghban on this blog
was Hori Khele Raghuveera, which was
a Holi song.
The song, which was five minutes and 39 seconds long, was penned by none other than Sameer Anjaan.
By no means would it be incorrect to state that the lion’s share of the credit for its popularity went to Amitabh Bachchan, who lent his baritone to it. Of course, his command of the Awadhi dialect was excellent.
He was joined behind the microphone by Alka Yagnik, Sukhwinder Singh and Udit Narayan.
Aadesh Shrivastava composed it.
