UNdoubtedly, Mangeshkar was (L)atad disappointing

Hindi film music buffs in general – and fans of Yash Raj Films and their music in particular – appreciated Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia’s scores for a few films produced by the banner in the 1980s and 1990s.

The former’s son, Rahul, composed the songs of Mujhse Dosti Karoge! (2002).

Andekhi Anjaani was the longer of the two tracks from the film on this blog – it was half-a-dozen minutes and 20 seconds long.

The song, which was penned by Anand Bakshi, was rendered by Lata Mangeshkar (who let the listeners down) and Udit Narayan.
