Unsurprisingly, Sukhwinder’s Sing(h)ing was energetic

Of the three songs from Tere Naam (which released in 2003 and was a remake of the 1999 Tamil film Sethu) on this blog, Lagan Lagi was the shortest – it was four minutes and 35 seconds long.

At that point, Sajid-Wajid weren’t called upon to compose the entire soundtracks of films, but there’s no two ways about the fact that even as guest composers, they were competent.

It was the only Punjabi number in an album chock-full of Udit Narayan renditions. No prizes for guessing that Sukhwinder was the Sing(h)er.

Sameer Anjaan penned the track.
